Today was a busy and exciting day.  Each group finished working on the collaborative
assignment this morning.  Jillian Smart presented 'Character and Content'.  We did character activities
and enjoyed the session. I appreciate and send a thank you to the department for my delicious lunch today.   After lunch  we completed our art projects and presentations.  Our musical and Testimonial presentations was lots of fun and exhibited the many tools and strategies that we were given to improve the learning experience of our students. I'm excited and thankful for the materials we received and will now reflect, read and hilite  my books and  materials for use strarting this school year.  

Digital Storytelling

     We were given  an effective lesson in digital storytelling with  Dr. Beriswill.  She  gave the GAETI  Team an overview of digital storytelling, an example, instructions, materials and assigned us to groups of two, to complete a digital storytelling project to present.  This was an interesting area of technology that is educational, interesting an enjoyable. This useful area of technology will be beneficial in using with students" activities in class and with class projects.     

Follow- Up Session

  Our GAETI 2014 Team met today to share our updates on the implementation of Common Core for the beginning of this school year.  Each participant recapped their teaching experiences in their district of  Common Core strategies, technological tools and presentations. We received instructional materials and explored them. Dr. Lee presented us Digital Newspaper Training,  We worked in grade level and subject groups.  We had an insightful and interesting day today.

Web Portfolio Presentations; GAETI Recap GAETI Blog Review

     The WebPortfolio Presentations was done by GAETI Participants.  This morning we all presented our Web Portfolio  that consisted of Technology, Lesson Plan, Presentations, Work Samples, and Blog. 
This went really well as some presented extra well.  Dr. Bracey guided us to connect to each other on google+.  This was interesting and enjoyable.  I have learned a lot more about technology through this workshop and am grateful for having it. We were taught as lot and given valuable handouts for preparing for the Common Core 21st century.
